What Does The Blood Test Report Suggest?

I recently had bloodwork for lightheadedness, hypoglycemia, nausea, fainting and faint feelings. I sometimes get rapid or racing heartbeat. EKG is normal. Bloodwork is within normal range except for the following: RDW 15.9 (H) Saturation 14 (L) Ferritin 9 (L) PreAlbumin 16 (L) Still waiting for Vitamin D2, D3 to come in. What does or could this all mean? Thank you. Ps. I had gastric bypass in 2003

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of blood report is as follows:
A low transferrin saturation, low ferritin, and high red cell distribution width (RDW) are seen in iron deficiency anemia.
RDW is the parameter which assesses the variation in red cell sizes.
Stomach is the site of absorption of iron so a previous gastric by pass surgery will interfere with iron absorption.
Thus, iron deficiency has to be replaced by iron supplements.

Thanks and take care
