What Does The Blood Count Report Mean?

Hello Doctor , I am in my 38th week of pregnancy and my complete blood count has come like : HAEMOGLOBIN : 10.1 POLYNORPHS : 79% LYMPHOCYTES : 18% RBC COUNT : 3.50 PLATELET COUNT :1.45 Can you please suggest is there anything I can do from my end with less time left ?

Thanks for your question on HCM. Your report is good except HB. Your Hb is 10.1 which is low for pregnancy. Ideally in pregnancy Hb should be atleast 13. At this moment I advice you to eat healthy food like fruits, carrot, jaggery etc. They are reach source of iron. You can increase the dose of iron supplement. Iron supplement is also available in injectable form. So discuss these things with your obstetrician.
