Moderate diffuse medial and central patellofemoral compartment chondrial loss 3.mild myxoid change of the ACL I fall at the left of my body. I am 67 years old What the findings mean and what are the options for treatment Jovka Vitanovska
Hello, I have studied your case and these are findings of arthritis. These are very common above fifty years of age and there is nothing to be panic about these. I would explain it in normal language. 1.You have tear in meniscus which is a shock absorber structure in knee. 2.There is damage to knee cartilage. 3. Myxoid change in ligament means that your ligament is also getting degenerative changes. So i would suggest you following. 1. Avoid squatting and sitting cross leg. 2.Hot water fomentaion 3.Volini gel local application 4. Calcium and vitamin D3 Thanks
