Hi I m Tiffany I had a MRI of tte left knee without contrast the findings show mild degeneration of the medial meniscus, mild thickening of the ACL, small to moderate joint effusion, mild lateral patellar tilt and medial patellar retinaculum is somewhat thin. What does this mean?
This looks like degenerative changes to an arthritic joint. Apply warm packs, avoid squatting, kneeling, cross leg sitting. If you have a lot of pain, arthroscopic debridement can be done to remove any bony debris and injured meniscus.
