General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your result of HSV is showing infection with proteus spp. bacteria. This bacteria is a normal commensal of intestinal tract. It usually colonizes at the introitus of vagina. It causes symptoms of urinary tract infection by ascending from the rectum to peri-urethra and bladder.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
