What Does Swelling On Throat After Eating Nuts Suggest?
A couple hours ago I noticed after eating some mixed nuts that the left side of my throat swelled up suddenly and it was slightly painful and difficult to swallow. I have never had any allergic reaction to nuts before. I have no trouble breathing at the moment either but the left side of my throat is still swollen about the size of a golf ball and it still hurts sometimes to swallow. It felt like it had started going down so I ate some dinner only to have it bloom out again. I was just wondering if this was something I should go to ER for or maybe wait till tomorrow and see how it feels.

Well come to HCM
Such feeling of swelling may not be due to what you ate but this could be pre-existing condition of GERD (Gastroesopheal Reflux Disease) and in my opinion this can be well managed with "Tab Omeprazole with Domperidone" once in day, hope this information helps, take care.
