What Does Swelling In The Right Testicle Indicate?

My husband s right testicle is swollen and 1 to 1 1/2 inches lower than his left. Experiencing pain He is 54yrs of age and in good health. He doesnot take any medication. He is very physically active on a daily basis. Noticed pain discomfort that has progressed to these symptoms.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about your husband.

The swelling as per you is painful and lower pole of testis . Mostly the swelling can be because of orchitis. He needs to take antibiotics like doxicycline after consulting a physician. During mean time have little bit of tight underwears.

If the testis upon pressing seems to be numb he needs a proper evaluation because this can be the tumor of the testicular pole also you don't need to worry even if it is like that because almost all testicular tumors are curable today's world.
