What Does Stabbing Chest Pain In Diabetics Suggest?

Hi, I had experienced a stabing breathtaking pain mid chest radiating thru to my back after having drank an icee drink to fast. I have no history of heart disease and am a diabetic type 2. this is the first time it happened. I had just prior experienced the brain freeze Fenom. I am 51 yo female

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist anx get done atleast chest x ray to rule out infection. In diabetes immunity of the body is getting low so chances of atypical bacteria and anaerobic bacteria are high. The pain you are describing is throbbing and seen in abscess formation due to anaerobic infection. So get done chest x ray first.
