Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. Your headache occurring from base to top could be due to

: Primary headache like tension or stress headache
It is nonspecific type if headache. It is dull aching, holocranial, band like sensation around forehead, increases with stress/tension/bright light/insomnia, relief after rest.

If your symptoms resemble above mentioned features, your headache may be tension headache. For relief, you can follow few tips

: Rest
: Avoid mental or physical stress
: Avoid bright light
: Maintain sleep routine. Daily sleep for 8 hours at least
: You can take painkiller like Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription
: You can get head and neck massage

: Secondary headache due to tumor/vision problem
Visual problem like refractive error can cause headache. If you are using glasses, you should wear glasses whenever you are reading/writing. If no error, you can get your vision checked up to rule out it. It can be treated by using proper number glasses.

Tumor in brain usually causes headache which is dull aching, associated with vomiting, mostly morning headache, heaviness in head, also associated with focal deficit/seizures sometimes, relief in headache after vomiting. Sometimes it may cause focal headache at tumor site.

Brain tumor is uncommon cause of headache. It only contributes less than 5% cases of overall headache. But still your symptoms resemble above features, you can consult doctor. The doctor may advise MRI brain to rule out any lesion in brain. Further management will be decided after report.

Hope it will help you. Thanks.

Take care.
