What Does Sgpt Level Of 141 Suggest?

dear doctors,im from Srilanka.Im waiting to go abroad.unfortunately as per my medical test my sgpt level is 141 ul.all ready i did the call bladder scan,hepatitis test & complete liver profile test.all test reports are normal.which kind of food i have to avoid?how to reduce this?which specialist doctor i have to consult?please be kind to give me a reply

Hello,
Although the most common cause of high SGPT is consumption of alcohol,Thete can be various other reasons for it like obesity,high cholesterol levels,consumtion of certain medications like anti depressants or anti convulsants!pain killers,anti fungals,overuse of multivitamins,consumption of herbal products etc.
You may consult a gastroenterologist for the proper management.
Do regular exercises,avoid junk foods,avoid alcohol,shed weight,consume more of green vegetables and fresh fruits.
You should be all right in 4-5 months time.
