What Does Severe Pain In The Middle Back Indicate?

I seem to be having gallbladder problems. I have had a severe pain in the middle of my back and in my upper/middle of my stomach along with severe nausea along with vomiting and occasional diahrea. Fatty foods tend to set it off. I need to know what I can eat and what NOT to eat to avoid these attacks.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You seem to be having gastritis and need to consult gastroentelogist for the same. Upper GI Endoscopy may need to be done and he will be in better position to guide you better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
