What Does Severe Pain In The Groin Indicate?
I am having deep groin pain along the crease of my right groin. I was checked for hernia but did not have one. I had a torn hip labrum that was repaired and the pain is still the same deep in my groin. It has been over a year and the burning and stinging is 24 hours a day. What type of specialist should I go see?

i can understand your concern. i donot think your previous injury is still causing the pain. I would suggest you consult a general surgeon or a urologist. he will do a thorough physical examination to look for presence of swollen lymph nodes, scrotal mass. a few blood tests and an ultrasound should be helpful in identifying the cause.
