i felt what seemed like a blood vessel/nerve pop in the back of my head and then my head filled with massive pressure. if i tip my head in any direction, the pain is severe. like my eyes will pop out of my head. i have sensitivity to light and sound, and if i cough, sneeze, or speak loud, i feel severe pain in my head.

Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM! I understand your concern.

Your symptoms may be caused by different disorders like :
1.sinus infection
2.migraine
3.uncontrolled high blood pressure
4. a lesion of the posterior part of the brain.

I recommend you to consult with a neurologist and perform tests like : a routine blood test for anemia and infection and a brain CT scan.
I would advise you to closely monitor your blood pressure.

Hope to have been of help!

Dr. Iliri
