What Does Severe Pain In Abdomen After Eating/physical Activity Indicate?
I have had a cramp in my lower left abdomin for a week now. It always there, it sometimes is worse after eating or doing something physical. I also get intense cramps when going to the bathroom for any reason. Pain radiates throughout my whole lower abdomin. Ive seen a dr 3 times. At first he said bladder infection and gave me antibiotics. When i went back he said the culture came back as nothing so it wasnt a bladder infection but more likely IBS. He did no test's. What else could this be?
If you are having cramp in your lower left abdomen for a week, it is related to an acute problem you might be facing. If culture resulted negative, then, it might be related to intestinal problem, but cannot confirm IBS until other organic issues are ruled out.
So, I highly suggest to run further evaluations to determine the right cause: - culture of stool - examination of stool for ova/parasites - abdominal ultrasound
Depending on the tests results, specific treatment will be prescribed.
Hope it helped!
