What Does Severe Pain Behind The Right Leg Indicate?

i have shooting intermittent pain in the back of my right leg, just above my knee. it radiates up a few inches it does not matter if I am standing, sitting, or walking.. or even lying down. I have been diagnosed with arthritis and bursitis in my right knee.

Arthritis and or bursitis of the knee will cause pain of the joint. Depending on the type of arthritis and the degree of joint involvement, the management can be decided. You must consult an Orthopedic surgeon for investigations and management.
