Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The doctor must have mentioned about the follicular study. It is an Ultrasound scan of your ovaries to see the size of follicles and whether it has ruptured (you have ovulated). It is not an invasive procedure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
