What Does Redness Around The Eyebrows And Temple Indicate?

I woke up last Wednesday morning with with redness at my eyebrow, temple and in hairline. The areas are slightly swollen, red and painful. Over a few days, the area at my eyebrow now looks like a scab however, I have not touched it nor had it broken open.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your complaints and it could be either due to contact dermatitis or seborrhoic dermatitis. I would recommend you to apply topical steroid like cortisone lotion on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetirizine once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching. This will resolve your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
