Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,
I read carefully your report.
The most probable cause of the enlargement of the thyroid gland are thyroiditis of autoimmune origin. Even though in most of the cases they are bilateral (it means that involve both lobes of the thyroid gland).
You should see an endocrinologist and he will ask for some hormonal results to see the function of the gland.
Than depending on the result (rather if it is under or over active thyroid) the treatment will be started.
Hope i have clarified your queries.
Best wishes,,
Dr.Mirjeta
