Hi thanks for asking question.
Here presence of pus in stool is not normal.I want to rule out
gastroenteritis or colitis like infective condition.Do your stool examination. If infection present then pus cells with bacteria will be seen.
Antibiotic given for it.Culture is also useful for shigellosis or salmonella or E.coli infection like causes.
If blood is also present then dysentry also has to be ruled out.If stool show ameba eggs or trophozoites then
parasitic infection could be the cause by amebic dysentry.
Meanwhile follow the below instruction...
-Drink more water
-Avoid excess spicy and fatty food
-Avoid smoke and alcohol
-For few days take small meal with frequent interval
-If constipation present then chamomile in tea good herbal remedy.
-digestive enzymes or fiber supplement useful .
-eat fiber containing diet more like apple, whole grain, wheat bran etc.
-Avoid gas forming food like cauliflower, cabbage etc.
-If still no benefit for costipation laxative can be taken.
For
anal fissure stool softener can be taken.
Warm water bath is useful.
If still pus present and cause not clear do endoscopy for search for suspicious are and subsequent biopsy taken which may rule out non specific colitis or
inflammatory bowel disease like condition.
Wish you good health.
