General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you have been taking birth control pills on a regular basis you shouldn't be pregnant. If you are not on proper birth control pills & had unprotected intercourse, you did not take emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours then you may be pregnant.

It depends on how you took your medications. If on your due date you do not get periods you should get a pregnancy test done with the first-morning midstream urine. Get your UTI treated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
