Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My wife, 64 yr-old female, is feeling pressure in her chest - from the bottom of the rib cage up the center of the chest. It comes and goes. Breathing becomes a little difficult. She has Type II Diabetes (controlled) and is a breast cancer survivor (radiation to the chest). Her normal BP is low - 115/65.
Diabetes can cause reused gastric motility and feeling of abdominal bloating and lower chest pain. Also it is possible that the radiation therapy to the chest may have affected the lung parenchyma and causing breathing difficulty.
