What Does Pre Pyloric With Upper Stomach Pain Suggest?
I had an EDG today upper endoscopy and they said everything ok but on my paper it said something about Pre Pyloric I have stomach ache almost every day in the middle of my stomach around my navel and when I drink milk it helps ,, they took biopsy but did not say anything wrong results in a couple of weeks why would the list say Pre Pyloric stomach I had H pylori a few years back and ulcers at 9 years old I am 63 years old and in really good health except for t his pain in my belly
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history about upper GI Endoscopy saying something about pre-pyloric. You would have put in the detailed reports if you have them. Well, this may be pre-pyloric gastritis or edema, ulcer or fibrosis and hence your Doctor is not much worried as he feels that it is not serious. I would advise you the following: PPI like Omeprazole Antacid liquids particularly when you are on empty stomach. Domperidone if indicated. Soft bland diet. Small frequent meals. Make a list of the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problems and stop them altogether. Rest of the treatment as advised by your treating Doctor.
