What Does Pain On The Bottom Of The Head Indicate?

Hi, I am experiencing sporadic pain in my head. The pain is like a zing, it moves from bottom right back side of head to upper middle back side of head. It s sorta pulsing like. It does not occur on any schedule, just shows up. This has been going on for at least 6 months. In the past week I have also started to experience tingling like numbness on the right lower side of my face from ear to chin. I have had an x-ray and cat scan. They can t find anything. They say they will refer me to neuro-surgeon. 4-5 years ago I had stenosis of neck, c3-c7, operated on. Is this more stenosis?

HI
Well come to HCM
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it is some what mixing kind of symptoms, more or less it may not be due to any CNS pathology, if the image study is unremarkable then it is nothing, it may not be due to the old history of cervical spine compression, in differential diagnosis it could be trigeminal irritation, or nonspecific symptoms just wait for some time and it will come around soon, if not then nerve conduction test is advisable with routine hematological test, including plasma glucose test, hope this information helps.
