What Does Pain In The Upper Abdomen And Ribcage Indicate?
Sir, good morning, I am having pain in upper abdomen i. below my chest and middle upper back and there is heavy pain in my rib cages also. I am unable to eat anything. I am taking BP tablets and neuro tablet i.e Max Gallin M75 and cholestral tablets. I feel like vomitting if i see rice. During 2016 i was having this problem and after that i did not have. I was taking Rantac 150. Now I have stopped. Pl. advise. I am suffering severly. I am not able to touch my stomach and ribcages and having back pain. Thanks.

If it responds to rantac it most probably is gastric acid reflux but the best way to be sure is to get it checked by a physician. A prolonged gastric acid reflux can also cause gastric ulcer so it's always better to have it checked .
