What Does Pain In The Testicles Indicate?

My partner and I were both checked for stds before having sex. He informed me that after having sex the last two times that he saw that his scotum was dry and flaky. Now he is also experencing pain in his testes. I have no symptoms. I went and was checked by my gyn after his comments and was told I currently have BV. What could the problem possibly have stemmed from?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for.yrusting HCM

Bacterial vaginosis will not be sexually transmitted. You can be treated with metronidazole to clear up the bacterial vaginosis.

Regarding your partner, I recommend getting urine analysis (to rule out infections) and testicular Ultrasound (to rule out any anatomical issues) for the evaluation of testicular pain.

Hope this answers your question
