What Does Pain In The Chest And Right Shoulder Indicate?

I have been diagnosed with over active thyroid. And have been taking carbimazole for 2 weeks. But started getting these realky bad pains in my chest and right shoulder. Was told they think is anxiety related. But its still happening and worse when swallow etc. Plus i have this itchiness all over my body that does not let up. Can it be a side effect to the medication

No, carbimazole can not cause such side effects.
Anxiety is very common in hyperthyroidism.
And anxiety can cause similar symptoms.
So along with carbimazole, propranolol (beta blocker) is advisable to prevent such symptoms.
So start propranolol 10mg once a day along with carbimazole.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
