What Does Pain In Leg With Discoloration To Dark Brown And Hardness In Leg While Having Diabetes Mean?

Hi Dr. How r u? I am a woman married and have 2 children and my husband had diabetes since last 7 months and takes glimed.... sorry I forgot complete name, I we tried to give some other medicines ayurvedic home medicine but he s getting pain down his leg long back but now it changed color to dark brown and hard and its paining and burning so what can we do to help him get rid of this? Thanks.

It is possible the medication that you are referring to is glimepiride. Diabetics can experience pain in the limbs related to problems with the nerves as a result of uncontrolled diabetes. (peripheral neuropathy)

Pain can also occur due to infection or decrease in circulation in the limb. It would be best for him to visit his doctor for a review to determine the exact cause.
This should be done as soon as he is able, if it is an infection it needs to be treated quickly.
