What Does Pain Between The Shoulder Blades Indicate?

I have an pain/ache that is between my lower left shoulder blade up to the side of my neck and hitting the top of the arm/ shoulder inbetween. Find I want to hold the arm as I would in a sling and not move it. First noticed it last Friday evening while reading in bed. Thought it was just cold so tucked it under the covers. I ve had it everyday since then. Take Tylenol and that helps a bit.

Hello,

It could be Frozen Shoulder pain.

You first have to get your x-ray done and see if there is anything else causing you pain and then go ahead and take painkillers to reduce it.

Any Paracetamol or Ibuprofen combination tablets can be taken for 5 days twice daily.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
