What Does Pain And Swelling In Bony Part Of Elbow Suggest?

The bony part of my elbow started to hurt on Sunday, no visible problems. I had my chiropractor look at it Wednesday, no visible problems. He suggested ice. I used ice that night and had a noticeable golf ball size amount of swelling yesterday after icing. This morning after not using any ice, it is going down, but it is still painful.

thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com....

well first i have a few questions-

did u suffer from any injury on your elbow before?
do you rest your weight on your elbow for a long time?
has there been a sudden sprain on your elbow recently?

get back to me with the answers and i can tell you further on your diagnosis....
as for now, do the following-

rest and less movements of the affected part
take tablet ibuprofen 400 twice daily for 5 days
take tablet pantoprazole 40 once daily for 5 days

if pain does not subside, consult an ORTHOPAEDICIAN....

hope this was helpful...

regards
