ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, Your CT scan finding suggestive of inflammation in the mastoid bone. Normally th mastoid bone filled with air cells that is multiple air filled small rooms. when there is inflammation-mastoiditis- inflammatory fluid will replace the air and the air cell walls collapse and join together causing opacification indicates chronic inflammation.
The fluid collecting in mastoid and middle air will get evaporated by the vent-tube which you are using since 3rd.
Hope my message clears your query .Take care
