General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your query. smelly vaginal watery discharge indicates infection of vagina. If un attainded it may lead to spread of infection & inflammation to cause pelvic inflammation. So it needs investigations to identify the causative organism( bacteria/ fungus ) For that- - a detailed internal examination by gynecologist/ vaginal swab culture & sensitivity test is helpful. - Please consult a gynecologist. after examination & investigations as per need, a specific treatment will be given to you to solve your problems. - In certain infections treatment of both sex partners becomes essential for complete cure. Thanks.
