i have numbness in my first, middle and ring finger tips. the doctor thought i had carpal tunnel. i had a nerve conduction study done and the specialist says the nerve damage is coming from my neck. I fell backward on hit my the back of my head right at the base of the scull and the top of the spine. a week later my fingers were numb. my question is, can the spine cause the same symptoms as carpal tunnel. I have the understanding that the spine will cause the middle and the small fingers to become numb, but my numbness is exactly like carpal tunnel.
