What Does Numbness On The Face And Arms Indicate?

I am a 49 year old woman and get my cycles every 4 months. This current cycle was very heavy and yesterday while traveling back home for 5 hours I started to bleed heavily while in my car. Once I got home and stepped into the shower, my entire right side went numb. My right side of my face, down my arm and legs and feet. This has not ever occurred like this before. I experience fatigue, but not numbness.

Numbness is most often caused by damage, irritation or compression of nerves.
