What Does Non Reactive HIV ELISA Test Mean And Does HIV Test Require Different Blood Samples?

I had a heart attack a couple of months ago and was rushed to the hospital .During my stay there I was tested hiv elisa which came non reactive but at the bottom of paper it was written, " this test was done out of four different blood samples". Would you be kind enough to to tell me what does non reactive mean and does hiv test require different blood samples? hoping for your interpretation.

Welcome to HCM.

HIV nonreactive means that you are free from HIV and the test is negative for HIV.
As they don't want to miss any chance of false negative, they would have done with different blood samples.
It is usual to do on government testing center 3 times with 3 different testing kits before declaring a positive result as to rule out any false positive result.
