The
uterus cervix and ovaries are normal in size and appearance.
Cul-de-sac, which is a space behind the uterus also shows no abnormality like fluid collection.
The finding that stands out is a
thickened endometrium i.e. the internal lining of
uterine cavity. A variety of causes such as benign
hyperplasia, polyps, and malignancy are in the differential.
However, a correlation with your age, whether you are menstruating, on any medication and current symptoms are important to make a diagnosis.
Kindly speak to your gynecologist. You might be asked to go for a test to sample a bit of the endometrium.
