What Does My Ultrasound Result Indicate?
I have a new 1.3 x 1.1 x 1.7 cm complex cystic mass in the mid pole of my left kidney. Ultrasound says this does not have a pattern of a angiomyolipoma, hemorrhagic cyst of simple cyst. Exact etiology is uncertain but could represent a metastasis, primary rental neoplasm or less likely hemorrhagic cyst. I have had chordial melanoma in my eye, which was fully removed 10 years ago, I am 32 y/o white female

Your findings may suggests complex cyst in left kidney.
It may be due to many causes like hemorrhage in simple cyst,carcinoma,metastasis etc.
You may need clinical correlation and contrast CT scan of abdomen.
Treatment depend upon findings.
