Hello,
The clinical symptoms and the result of the hormonal result confirm that you have hypothyroidism.
It means that your thyroid does not produce enough hormones and with a feed back mechanism the TSH is raised.
Treatment with thyronorm consists in substitution of the thyroid hormones in order to keep them in the normal ranges.
This is why the hormonal level is checked regularly in order to prevent over or under dosage.
After starting the treatment a 4 weeks period is needed to improve the symptoms.
Hope i have been of help.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
