What Does My Stress Echo Test Result Indicate?

I have just got resUlts from stress echo.. report says EF 42%, MAILDLY REDUCED GLOBAL STRAIN RATE -14% WHAT IS THAT, AND THIS COMMENT PUZZLES ME..GLOBAL LEFT VENTRICULAR SYSTOLIC FUNTION DID NOT AUGMENT, IS THIS COMMENT A POSITIVE RESPONSE? GOING TO CARDIO 3 WEEKS TIME ALSO BASAL ANTEROSEPTUM MOST HYPOKINETIC.. WONT BOTHER YOU WITH ALL THE COMMENTS APPRECIATE ANY RESPONSE. THANK YOU

Dear patient your stress echo is suggestive of compromised cardiac function.EF 42% is low against normal of 60%.also no augmentation of ventricular systolic function is not a good news.Hypokinesis of septum is suggestive of decreased blood flow to that area which can lead to a heart attack anytime. So in my opinion dear patient your should seek a cardiology opinion as early as possible.
