What Does My Scan Result Indicate About My Chances Of Conceiving?

Will I conceive normally? My scan showed that I have anteverted uterus, bulky and heterogeneous in echotexture. Multiple fibroids noted, left ovary normal but right ovary contains a collapse haemorrhagic cyst measuring 32.6* 26.6* 43.7mm. There is a moderate amount of fluid noted adjacent to the right ovary.

Radiologist 's  Response
Hello

Findings suggests that uterus is enlarged in size and there is presence of multiple fibroids in uterus.
Fibroid may interfere in conceiving.
Fibroid is a benign tumour of uterus.
Treatment of fibroid depend upon many things like age, family is completed or not, symptoms etc.
Treatment of fibroid is both conservative and surgical.Myomectomy can be considered in females whose family is not completed.
It need evaluation by a gynecologist.

There is also a collapsed haemorrhagic cyst in right ovary with adjacent fluid. This may need regular follow up.It is expected to regress and this is not expected to interfere in pregnancy.

Get well soon.
Take Care
