Radiologist 's  Response
fibroids are smooth muscle benign growths that arise in the uterus. they can be of different shapes and sizes. a pedunculated fibroid means that it has a narrow base/stalk. such fibroids are prone to torsion and should preferably be removed or monitored closely.
