Hello and welcome to HCM, The lab report that you have posted is that of blood. The report is showing that there is increase in number of neutrophils and band cells. Neutrophils are white blood cells which are increased in case of infection. Band cells are precursors of neutrophils or the cells which precede the neutrophils. There is decrease in number of lymphocytes. An increase in neutrophils and band cells along with decrease in lymphocytes is suggestive of bacterial infection. However, other parameters like total leukocyte count also need to be known for better interpretation of results.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
