What Does My Chest X-ray Suggest?

I was being diagnosed with bilateral PTB as my x ray shows and have taken fixcom 4 for 2 months already, and visited again my doctor and my recent x ray result is ( There is no change of fibrotic infiltrates seen in both apices more on the left. The pulmonary vasculature is within normal limits. The tracea is in the midline. The heart is not enlarged. The hemidiaphragms and costophrenic sulci are intact. The osseous and soft tissue structures are unremarkable. IMPRESSION: Bilateral apical PTB of doubtful clinical activity. And my sputum test, culture and sensitivity results are all negative. What does this mean? Am I sick or not?

Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In lungs any insult either tuberculosis or trauma or pneumonia ,once healed give healing by other of the following.
1. Fibrosis
2. Calcification
3. Rarely complete resolution.
Healing by fibrosis and calcification produce scar tissue which is seen on chest x ray as fibrotic infiltrate.
Since your sputum test, culture and sensitivity are normal , no need to worry for worsening of disease. Your treatment Is on right track.
Now you need 2 drugs for next 4 months, to complete 6 months of TB treatment.
So no need ti worry much, do regular follow up with your doctor and complete 6 months of TB treatment.
