What Does My Chest X-ray Test Report Indicate?

This is my mom report of a chest x ray it says the following: Accentuated basal bronchovascular markings with small atectatic bands. Clear both lungs fields and costophrenic angles Normal cardiac size and configuration Prominent aortic knuckle Dorsal spondaylosis

= Accentuated bronchovascular markings means increased blood going to the lungs. This might be a normal finding or may be indicative of a bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchi). They have to be correlated clinically. In absence of any other symptoms (e.g cough, fever) there's nothing to worry about.

= The small atelectatic band is likely to be an old resolved infection. However, as mentioned above, it should be correlated clinically.

= Prominent aortic knuckle occurs with age. There's nothing to worry about, specially the heart appears normal in the X-ray (Normal cardiac size and configuration).

= Dorsal spondylosis is osteoarthritic changes of the dorsal spine. These are wear-and-tear changes that occur with age. There's nothing serious to worry about. These changes are expected to be seen in the elderly.
