What Does My Blood Count Indicate?

my sister is being treated for stage 3 colon cancer, she had to change her chemo frequency fro every 2 weeks to every 3 weeks because her blood count is to low it s at 101, I guess 100 is bad, so what is she in for if her blood count goes to 100 and will that mean she stops her chemo treatments?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Thank you for your query.

It would be very helpful for us to have some more information on the blood test result from your sister. Which blood index was 100 and which are the measurement units?

If you would be able to upload her CBC, we will be able to better evaluate the blood indexes and further assist you.

I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
