HELLO SIR, MY WIDAL TEST REPORT IS AS BELOW : 1/30 1/60 1/120 1/240 1/480 SALMONELLA TYPHI O : + + + – – SALMONELLA TYPHI H : + + – – – SALMONELLA TYPHI AH : – – – – – SALMONELLA TYPHI BH : – – – – – IF I M SUFFERING FROM THYPHOID.

Hello,

The report of Salmonella Typhi O and H positivity indicate underlying Enteric fever (Typhoid). You need to consult your family physician and get prescription of necessary antibiotics course for a period of 2-3 weeks depending upon the clinical severity and evaluation. Strict dietary measures must be followed till the period of recovery as:
- Consume boiled water
- Prefer lemon juice, coconut water, home made juices, fresh butter milk
- Avoid aerated drinks
- Rice, curd, cereals, pulses, legumes, organic fresh fruits preferable
- Avoid all spices, non veg, junk food, dairy fat
- Remain ambulatory
- Avoid smoking, alcohol if consuming. Be in regular follow up with your doctor for best possible recovery at earliest.
