What Does My Pap Smear Test Report Indicate?

Hi, my Pap smear results showed that it is satisfactory inflammatory smear but limited by multiple layers obsuring cellular detail. Benign Cellular Changes- cellular changes present, consistent with inflammatory effects. Abundant bacteria flora present. What does all these mean?

Hello,

The inflammatory effect could be due to any local infection of the cervix, however bacterial flora could be normal commensals or pathogenic as well. I suggest you to visit your gynecologist for expert opinion and treatment if needed.
