What Does My MRI Scan Report Of My Brain Indicate?
my friend s MRA BRAIN conclusion: 1. Encephalomalacic changes in the left lentiform nucleus and left corona radiata, with suggestive gliosis/demyelination and cortical laminar necrosis in the left frontal and left temporal regions. These findings are suggestive of a chronis left MCA territory infarct. The smaller left cerebral peduncle is a secondary change. 2. Small caliber left MCA with paucity of branches beyond the M1 segment. There is a short segment(Can you PLEASE explain the above in layman s term??and what causes them and is it curable?? Thanks

Blood supply to certain part of brain is stopped due to which she can have weakness in limbs movements, facial weakness speech difficulties, there may be sensory difficulties, it can be curable if neurologist find in appropriate time without delay. In delay also, physiotherapy speech therapy, CST, online yoga meditation workshops [art of living] helps in faster recovery instead of only medicines.
