What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Hello Doc; I had an injury to my neck and shoulder in 1995/96. Arthroscopic stabilization in 1997. about 18 months total P.T and O.T. No real relief except after surgery, shoulder no longer dislocates. I had an MRI the results say moderate arthritis with inferior spurring causing impingement and arthritis. My neck is not good. Compressed and arthritis C5-C7. Most recently the pain is unbearable, even after 20 yrs from the date of injury. What quality of life is left for someone with this condition?

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I can understand the pain your suffering from the shoulder arthritis.

I suggest you consult a physician for pain management. There may be a requirement of steroids and opioid derivatives to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
