What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

I recently had my gallbladder removed. Symptoms present prior to removal have returned. I can only eat broth, jello, hummus, few crackers, avocado and drink water without symptoms worsening. Currently taking all three acid meds. Recent MRI showed no obstruction. Blood test showed normal liver enzymes. Surgeon of gallbladder removal stated that a stone still existed in the bile duct. New dr referred by surgeon stated that all test indicate that is not the case. One other odd symptom is an itching below right shoulder blade when I eat.

Hi welcome to the health care magic

After gall bladder removal gastrointestinal symptoms can occur

Let me explain you mechanism for that

Gall bladder is bile reservoir and bile salts in bile help in digestion of fat

Now after removal gall bladder not present,, so bold reservoir not present, so fat digestion difficult and hence diarrhea occurs (bile acid leads diarrhea by irritation as well)

Residual stone can be ruled out by MRCP or ERCP like investigation

You are advised to take low fat diet

Hope your concern solved

Take care

Consult gastroenterologist for examination and further work up
