All good until this am, I don t know how I did this, dr said stairs so got a stairlift. I live alone and Ortho Dr. 50 miles away. Any suggestions on how to prevent the pain? I can t take pain pills. Hi,

Yes you can use over the counter painkiller for the pain relief. Try paracetamol every 4 to 6 hours. If it does not help, you may also take ibuprofen, after meal. Besides pain killer, you may also be helped by heat pads or ice packing avoid stenos exercises. Do see your doctor if you are very unwell or if the problem persisted.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
